Wethersfield Teen Theater Company (WTTC) was founded by teenagers and is for teenagers. From Directing to acting, lighting design to make-up, it is all done by the hardwork of teens. It is this very fact that makes WTTC so special. Every summer teens from Wethersfield and surrounding towns get together and put on a completely teen-run musical. The experience is one that members cherish and remember for the rest of their lives. Members range from 11 to 22 and most people participate in multiple productions. Whether its the stage, the pit or behind the scenes where members decide to reside, everyone puts forth 100% effort and gives many hours of every summer to make each year's show a success.

This group has jelled into one nutty family. Everyone brings something unique and special to the company. Throughout the years, the company has grown into what it is today: from "those drama kids" that had the idea of a teen run production, to a fully developed, ever-growing, community-based theater company, WTTC has reached limits that were but a far-off dream of its founders.

The Wethersfield Teen Theater Company is proud to be an organization founded 22 years ago that serves the public and provides entertainment in the spirit of the town's youth. As a company, WTTC is always looking for new members and volunteers and would be happy to have anyone from the ages of 11 to 22 join the company. If you are between this age range and have a passion for theater, music, community involvement, public service, and socialization, this company is the perfect fit for you. WTTC needs people to help in all manner of aspects; acting, singing, dancing, helping with stage crew, set designing, helping with technical design, playing in the pit, directing, vocal directing, choreographing, designing costumes, set building, producing and more...
